The merit is the effort of all

Education is a long-distance race where the efforts of students, parents, and teachers are always rewarded. The collaborative work of the entire educational community enables students to progress through the various stages, developing their intellectual and emotional capacities.

Every new challenge overcome is a source of pride, and of course, we celebrate the achievements of each one. Especially the magnificent results on the University Entrance Exam, the result of sustained performance throughout their entire schooling.

Achievements 2022/2023

  • Christmas Card Contest, 23rd Salliver School. Winner: Helena L., 3rd grade.
  • The school choir participates in the Christmas event organized by Fuengirola City Council, in the Plaza de la Constitución.
  • In addition, she inaugurated the Yoga Loves Everyone event, held at the Peace Palace in Fuengirola.
  • The school participates in the nativity scene exhibition organized by the Fuengirola City Council.
  • The 2nd Matequiz Mathematics Competition was attended by students in 5th and 6th grade. Alejandro C., Daniel R., Ian T., and Daniela M. were the finalists of the Matequiz Olympiad, advancing to the 5th Thales Mathematics Olympiad. Ian T. was the finalist.
  • The 13th SuperT Matik Mental Calculation Competition was attended by primary and secondary school students from our school. The following students were placed in the top 100 in the international round: Eric H. 1st grade; Max K. 1st grade; Elsie H. 2nd grade; Nicolás B. 6th grade; Julián S. 6th grade.
  • IX Progrentis Olympiad, students from 2nd to 6th grade participated.
  • Gestagua’s “Discovering the Villains” Drawing Contest was attended by students from 1st to 6th grade. Twelve were selected, with Laura G., Paula O., and Anastasia K. emerging as the winners.
  • II Salliver School Chess Tournament with the collaboration of Chess Attitude, becoming champions: in division A (Pablo T. B. 5th grade and Alejandro C. 6th grade, and in division B (Daniel V. 6th grade and Sofia S. 6th grade.
  • December 2022. 1st Salliver School Chess Tournament in collaboration with Chess Attitude.
  • From January 2023. Chess League from 3rd to 6th grade. Swiss system with 7 rounds. 5+0 rhythm.
  • Salliver Chess Club. It will open next academic year. Open to students, day students, and adults.
  • June 2023. Salliver Gaming Event. Our video game programming students presented their personal projects and acquired knowledge to their families and friends.
  • The 13th SuperT Matik Mental Calculation Competition from our school included primary and secondary school students. The following students were ranked among the top 100 in the international round: Adrián C. 1st year; Clara M. 1st year; Enrique G. 2nd year; Diego A. 2nd year; José Carlos B. 2nd year; Juan Alberto G. 1st year; Lucas del O. 4th year.
  • 59th Spanish Mathematical Olympiad Lucas del O., 4th grade. He finished among the top 12 in the provincial phase.

  • Participation in the VIII Retotech Edition organized by the Endesa Foundation. Savy Piggy Project.
  • Paula G., a 2nd year baccalaureate student, has been selected along with a total of 50 students from all over Spain, after completing the four phases of the lengthy selection process for the 18th Europa Scholarships.
  • First tournament of the VII Cicae-Camilo José Cela University Pre-University Debate League. C qualified for the final phase, the English teams: Ana M. and Celia S.M. Spanish teams: Alejandra C., Paula G., Nicolás P., José S., the team that won the tournament.
  • In addition, Nicolás P. and José S. were selected to represent Spain in international sessions of the European Model Parliament.
  • Angela U. was part of the organizing committee of the European Youth Parliament’s Regional Selection Conference.
  • They have twice won the Cicae University Camilo José Cela Tournament, part of the most important bilingual league in Europe. They have been a key player in the Salliver Debate Club.
  • The 4th Andalusian Educational Debate Tournament, Spanish category, was attended by the team formed by 4th year students Ángel A., Víctor R. and Ignacio Q., and 3rd year students Manuel M. In the English category, the team formed by Elena M., María A., Ángel B. and Fernando A. from 3rd year were the winners, participating in the regional competition held in Granada.
  • María A., 3rd grade, has been selected as the best speaker at the 4th Andalusian Educational Debate Tournament.
  • José S., Spanish delegate at the 56th MEP International Session in Sofia, Bulgaria.
  • José S. and Nicolás P. selected among the ten students participating in international and regional sessions.
  • The IV MEP Session was attended by the 1st year high school delegates Alba D.P., María M., Marcus M. and Neus B. (who advanced to the national phase held in Madrid)
  • I Tournament VII Cicae League Camilo José Cela University, participate in the final in the Spanish modality the teams formed by: Angel A., Victoria F., Andrea U. and Federico G., Sofia V., Marcus M., Carmen N., Nora G. and Paulina F., José S., Nicolas P., Paula G., and Alejandra C., becoming champions of the I Tournament.   • The VII Cicae League Final Tournament at Camilo José Cela University featured the following Spanish teams: Paulina F., Nora G., Sofia V., Carmen N., and Marcus M. (1st year), Jose S., Paula G., Nicolas P., and Alejandra C. (2nd year). The English team: Ana M., Lucia H., María M., and Carmen S.M.
  • The European Youth Parliament (EYP) Regional Selection Conference was attended by students Andrea U., Africa S., Evgeny Y., Lily V., Sara V. and Victoria F.
  • June 2023. 1st Salliver Debate Tournament.
  • Our first and second year high school students participated in the Málaga 2023 Young Entrepreneurs Talent Festival held at Fycma, which brought together more than 200 young people, as well as companies and stakeholders from the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The event, in addition to highlighting the positive impact generated in Málaga by Mondragon University and Teamlabs during their first year in the city, also presented the results of “Acelera,” the first pre-university accelerator in Málaga.
  • The 6th Project Your Future Vocational Guidance Conference, under the theme “Discover Your Path, Choose Your Destiny,” was attended by 23 educational institutions.
  • Salliver Integral Future Project. The project’s objective is to give our first-year high school students the opportunity to gain experience and exposure to a real company and learn firsthand how different positions and companies in various sectors work. On this occasion, our students took advantage of the summer vacation to spend a few days at various partner companies: Bartolome Consultores, JUMA Security & SmartCities, Clinica Vetsur, and Viveros Guzmán.

  • A Dune Reforestation Day was held on Saturday, March 25th, in collaboration with the Mijas City Council’s environmental department. The activity consisted of reforesting the Mijas coastal dunes with native plants, including sea fennel, sea thistle, and lotus, and removing invasive plants.
  • Winners of the 5th Best Practices Award in the education category for the project “Salliver Basketball Club at the service of the value proposition, strengthening our brand.”

  • The World Ranking 2023/2024. Among the 100 best schools in Spain. Ranked 52nd in the national ranking compiled by the newspaper El Mundo. Recognized as the second-ranked school in the province of Malaga and the sixth of the thirteen Andalusian schools included in this report, which has been in existence for twenty-four years.
  • Finalists in the 5th Educational Innovation Awards. Our project, “Spend a Day with Your Child,” in the educational marketing strategy category.
  • October 6, 2022. InnovaPro Meeting, organized by EIM Learning Consultants. We welcomed executives from Latin America (Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Mexico).
  • March 7, 2023. Salliver School is hosting the benchmarking session of the Education Forum on Management of Educational Innovation, organized by the Excellence in Management Club.
  • June 7, 2023. InnovaPro Meeting, organized by EIM Learning Consultants. We received a visit from school principals from Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, and Paraguay who came through the Trébol Group.
  • Recognition and award as one of the best schools in Spain 2023 by the official Micole platform.
  • April 2023. Blood donation campaign. The Málaga Blood Transfusion Center has set up a unit at the school for blood donations.
  • May 2023. We host the 1st Power Event, organized by the Power Training platform.
  • Salliver Basketball Club has more than 500 federation members, 35 coaches, and 33 teams that compete at the provincial and Andalusian levels in their national categories.
  • X National Meeting “Sport without insults”. This tenth edition is looking special after its return to the courts since its last edition in May 2019. This pioneering tournament in the region and organized by the Salliver Basketball Club of Fuengirola will feature more than 500 players spread across 41 teams from the surrounding provinces and the province of Malaga itself, in addition to the special visit of two clubs from the Autonomous City of Melilla, Enrique Soler and Real Club Marítimo.

In der Provinz Málaga erhielt unser Schüler, Herr Guillermo R., die Auszeichnung für den höchsten Notendurchschnitt (10.000) im zweiten Jahr der Oberschule in der Kategorie Naturwissenschaften und Technologie.

Das Team wurde als bestes Spaniens für die internationale Phase im schwedischen Göteborg ausgewählt und gewann eine Bronzemedaille.
