Basketball club

The dream of creating a Basketball Club began several years ago with immense enthusiasm and the desire for everyone to understand the philosophy that would drive this project.

Salliver Basketball Club

In any basketball project, great importance is placed on the sporting aspects. It’s often easy to overlook the essential: the growth in values. This project is based on values such as DIGNITY, RESPECT, COURAGE, COOPERATION, HUMILITY, INTERIORITY, RESPONSIBILITY, and SOLIDARITY.

We started with about 35 children. During the first season, we had the tireless support of parents and family members who were always there, offering us words of encouragement and motivation. In that first year, we realized that beginnings are difficult and that we had to keep working hard to establish a solid foundation. It’s crucial to always build from the bottom up to progress.

We also realized we needed to open our doors to all players eager to learn and enjoy this sport, and whose families, like us, wanted to integrate both sport and personal development. We got to work and organized an open house. We had the pleasure of seeing students from other schools join, eager to be part of this future sports family, coming from various locations eager to learn and integrate into this new sporting concept.

In the second year, we grew from 35 to 69 children and entered competition with six teams: five boys and one girl. By the third year, we had over 170 players and competed with 14 teams, five of them girls. By the fifth year, we had 200 players and 15 teams.

The coaching staff met on August 20, 2012, to plan the season. Considering the number of players, they realized that WE ARE AN INVESTMENT IN THE FUTURE. Our effective marketing strategy, the seriousness and responsibility of our work, and the strong unity among everyone involved in this team have led to this incredible growth in recent years for basketball.
